I wanted to be both an olympic pairs figure skater and an olympic gymnist when I was very young. Unfortunately, cercumstances made pursuing those impossible. But since I've been in portlandia I think I'd like to try the figure skating since There are actually rinks here. My goal is the 2022 winter olympics. hahaha! we'll see if that happens. I just moved to forest grove from springfield, and just two years before that i lived in virginia. so I have that souther accent. so i know very little about the area and i do try to explore it when i can. I have a degree in the culinary arts. I currently work at an independent and assisted living faculity. I love animals right now i own two doves and i do have a dog but since my apt complex doesn't allow dogs she stays at my moms house. I do enjoy doing outdoor stuff like camping, swimming, horseback riding, that kind of stuff. I belong to a group that does medieval reanactment. i was born and raised in this group. we try to reanact medieval ages as close as possible. its a lot of fun becuase basically you get to play dress up, go camping at the evens that last for just a weekend to about two weeks. and if ya hang around the people that i hang with, ya get to beat your friends up with stick, and sit around a good camp fire tellin no shit there we were stories and singing songs.

I have been through a lot in the last few years, and those events have both helped and hindered me in shaping who I am now. I can say for sure I am fiercely loyal and caring, I live life by a a code of honor, I always try to help those who they need it, and try to be there for those I care about. I am also very fun loving, I enjoy going out to do things, especially taking walks and hiking, though I do not get to do so as often as I would like. I LOVE both Film and Storytelling, they are a major part of my life, in part I believe because I was raised by a very story oriented family, but I also have a passion for many forms of music and art, and I love to learn about the world.

!Hello - Hello! I have recently decided it is time to start moving on from my past (relationship 6 years ago) and start meeting new people, making friends, maybe more...... and just start having FUN again. So, here I am - posting on cupid.

Hmmm... Well I love being outside as often as possible, taking pictures, camping, horse back riding or just playing with my daughter. Basically anything that keeps me busy. I also love movies, I know opposite from being outside, but I like having the randomly allowed lazy days inside.

I ride, I hunt, I fish on occasion, but this is all secondary to my relationships with my kids and family. In other words if it starts to interfere with my relationships it takes a back seat. I divorced in march of 09. I can't seem to find someone who's honest and shares the same morals and values i do. I'm an introvert. That means that by my nature, I tend to entertain myself rather than seeking the company of others. Sometimes I do want to meet other people, and that's why I'm here. Being an introvert doesn't mean I don't like company, it just means that I need time to recharge between social periods.

I like gaming, with cards, board games, video games, whatever. I enjoy the social aspect of it as much as the actual game play. Lately I've been playing a lot less board games than I did before, as my work schedule has was in the way, but I have since gone on day shift and I hope to play them more. At the moment I spend a lot of time languishing at home playing World of Warcraft, Guitar Hero or various other video games.

I moved to the portland area 5 years ago or so, and while I have met a few people, they're all really just board gaming or LAN party friends or work friends, not the kind of people you call up just to hang out with or whatever. So mostly I just spend my time at home.
