I love going to this place for sushi during lunch time. Partly it is near my work and their lunch prices are more reasonable compared to their dinner. With that said, I would classify this place as one of the pricier restaurants and be prepared to wait for a table or drive around a few times to find parking during the lunch hour rush. The sushi and sashimi at this place is very fresh and the chef does a good job preparing it. ( You know how, you find chewy sushi/ sashimi @ those conveyer belt sushi places. This ISN'T the case here). This place represents how Japanese dining should be -- dishes are fresh and artfully displayed. I would recommend ordering their bento combinations if you want to get the most return for your buck. If you like fresh or raw salmon, try their Sake Don ( Salmon over a bed of sushi rice). Very fresh and generous portion. They also display their specials on the board by the sushi bar. If you see spicy tuna rolls, try that. It is fresh and reasonably priced when it on their special for the day. However, service can be rather slow and one of the older waitresses there can come across as aburpt. ( I think it is because she doesn't speak fluent English). Time your visit, either around 11.30am or @ 1ish pm to beat the lunch crowd to get better service and guarantee yourself a table.

I had spider rolls and spicy tuna. I am a sushi lover. GREAT sushi, fast and friendly service. 'nuff said!

The restaurant itself was very nice and the staff was very friendly. However, the service was slow. We were missing pieces of our sushi order, and it took a while to get them and our drinks were never refilled. They give you complimentary edimame when you sit down, but it was cold...made me wonder how long ago it was made. On some of their rolls (particularly my Philadelphia roll) they do some sort of deep fried crunchy stuff on the outside, which I didn't care for. I really enjoyed the staff; they were so helpful and so polite. Maybe since it was NYE, they were just overwhelmed, even though the restaurant wasn't full.
